About Liz
Elizabeth Rosen is a native New Orleanian, and a transplant to small-town Pennsylvania. She misses Gulf oysters and Étouffée, but has grown appreciative of snow and colorful scarves. Color-wise, she’s an autumn. Music-wise, she’s an MTV-baby.
Liz is a former Nickelodeon TV writer and is the author of the monograph Apocalyptic Transformation: Apocalypse and the Postmodern Imagination (Lexington Books, 2008). Her short stories have been nominated for numerous Pushcart, Best of the Net, and Best Small Fictions awards.
She has been the recipient of writing residencies from Studio Faire, Hypatia-in-the-Woods, Wildacres, Rockvale Writer’s Colony, Cuttyhunk Island Writer’s Residency, and Syvenna Foundation.
